In “The Small Big” video on Youtube, Steve, Noah and Robert talked about a great way for any restaurant to keep loyalty of it’s customers with just a simple voucher. this voucher simply have ten spaces, one for each time the customer orders a meal from that restaurant. when a certain customers reaches the 10th meal, It’s for Free!! .. this trick makes a customer with only 3 bought meals focuses on his early achievement -the three meals- rather than focusing on the eight meals left. This is very important in the science of persuasion. because a study by behavioral scientists showed up that when persuading someone to complete a task, it’s a way better to focus on the progress that’s already been made than the effort remaining to complete that task. Awesome Isn’t it.
Teach them .. Creatively
I remember one of my friends once wanted to buy some shirts for his new job. He went to a small clothing store and bought what he needed. when I asked him about this store he answered: “It’s the best store ever!” and when I asked him: “Why?!” he said: ” You know I don’t know how to tie my neck tie, while I was choosing one of them, one of the sales persons noticed that and offered to teach me how to do it. It was very simple and I felt like professional” ..
That’s it .. Simple, Effective .. and no money needed.
Inbound or outbound?!
Most of the professional marketers today are racing to implement inbound ways in their marketing activities. this is quite healthy to their products and brands. Unfortunately when some of the young aged marketers – especially digital marketers and social media specialists who didn’t even studied marketing well – uses inbound methods (not marketing) to communicate and engage everyone interacts with their brand! This is very good for brand awareness but when you talk to them about sales, they always talks about how branding is powerful and – in the future – will make a lot of sales!
Simply If you don’t have a well prepared lead generation strategy, Do not use inbound.
